Cynthia Bailey in Her Power Era

There are faces that define moments, and then there are faces that outlive them.
Cynthia Bailey’s is the latter.
Her cheekbones remain unmistakable. Sculptural, elegant, instantly recognizable. But what arrests you now is not the symmetry. It’s the stillness. The confidence of a woman who no longer needs to be explained, approved, or edited.
On the December 2025 cover of Black Beauty Founders, Cynthia is not revisiting her legacy. She is expanding it.
For years, strangers have asked her the same question.
What do you do to your skin?
It sounds like a beauty question. It never really was.
It was a question about longevity. About how she continues to look grounded, radiant, and deeply at ease in herself. That curiosity eventually became Glowissima, a brand born not from trend-chasing, but from lived experience.
“People are always asking me how I take care of my skin,” Cynthia says. “And it made me realize how many women want honest and effective solutions.”
Glowissima emerged from her own journey with beauty and aging. As time passed, Cynthia’s relationship with beauty shifted from performance to presence.
“As I’ve grown, beauty has become more about confidence, self-care, and embracing the fact that we truly can get better with age,” she explains. “Representation is incredibly important to me. I wanted women to see someone who looks like them and is evolving right alongside them.”
Glowissima is built for women redefining beauty on their own terms. Timeless. Radiant. Confident at every age.
Cynthia often says beauty is a lifestyle, not a moment. She means that literally.
“It’s the little things we do every day,” she says. “How we care for our skin. How we treat ourselves. The energy we bring into a room.”

That philosophy shapes everything she builds. Glowissima is designed around real routines and real life, not fantasy. Cynthia is no longer interested in chasing trends. She’s choosing what makes her feel confident, grounded, and genuinely good in her skin.
“At this stage in my life, I’m all about simplicity, consistency, and products that actually deliver,” she says. “It’s not about looking perfect. It’s about feeling radiant from the inside out.”
Creating a beauty brand surprised her in ways she didn’t expect. Not because of the work, but because of how personal it became.
“So much of it comes down to trusting your instincts,” she says. “Knowing what feels authentic. What truly works. What women actually need.”
Seeing the industry from the inside reinforced the importance of intention. From formulas to packaging to messaging, every detail mattered. Glowissima would be built with integrity. Simple. Effective. Transparent. Always centered around real women and real skin.
One non-negotiable was accessibility.
“I insisted on high-quality, clean ingredients without making the products unaffordable,” Cynthia says. “Luxury should feel accessible to the women who actually use these products every day.”
That same intention shows up in her personal style. CB Vior, her accessories brand, is an extension of her aesthetic and her lifestyle. Timeless, statement-making pieces designed to help people feel confident and comfortable in their own skin.
“For me, fashion isn’t just about style,” she says. “It’s about confidence, authenticity, and feeling at ease. CB Vior isn’t just part of my brand. It’s a huge part of my lifestyle.”
Wellness is where everything connects.
Five years ago, self-care happened when it could. Today, it’s intentional and holistic. Cynthia focuses on nourishing her body, mind, and spirit every day through consistent movement, mindful nutrition with Weight Watchers, Omega XL for joint and muscle health, rest, and mental clarity.
“Wellness isn’t just about loving the skin I’m in,” she says. “It’s about feeling truly comfortable in it. That changes how you show up in life.”
After years of living with fibroids, Cynthia chose visibility over silence. She now uses her voice as a wellness advocate with USA Fibroid Centers and speaks openly about menopause, helping normalize conversations women are often expected to endure quietly.

Protecting her peace has become foundational. Workouts. Massages. Supplements. Meditation. Quiet reflection. Boundaries.
“These practices help me show up fully,” she says. “Not just for my work, but for my life.”
This season is about nurturing herself completely. Physically. Mentally. Spiritually. Emotionally. That intention extends to her relationships, especially with her daughter, Noelle.
Motherhood reshaped everything.
“Raising Noelle made me more patient, more intentional, and more fearless,” Cynthia says. “She’s the reason I think carefully about the choices I make as a woman and as an entrepreneur.”
The lessons she’s most proud of passing on are simple and powerful. Confidence comes from within. Beauty isn’t perfection. Self-worth means never shrinking, speaking up, and knowing you deserve good things.
Watching Noelle carry those lessons forward is one of Cynthia’s greatest joys.
When she thinks about legacy, Cynthia doesn’t think about milestones. She thinks about peace.
“I want Noelle to remember this chapter as a time when I chose myself, my growth, and my happiness without guilt,” she says. “To know it’s never too late to evolve, start over, or dream bigger.”
As she steps into 2026, Cynthia carries a fresh sense of purpose. Acting remains her primary focus, but she’s expanding her brands, forming meaningful partnerships, and continuing to use her voice in the wellness and women’s health space.
More important than what she’s building is how she wants the next decade to feel.
“Peaceful. Intentional. Creative. Full of joy,” she says. “This next chapter is about elevation, but it’s also about softness.”
This chapter isn’t about chasing relevance.
It’s about embodying it.
On the cover of Black Beauty Founders, Cynthia Bailey doesn’t ask for your attention.
She commands it.
