Your Lips Have a Routine, Too: IA Beauty Launches Lip Peptides
Dallas founder India Hester is turning lip care into a daily ritual with three new peptide treatments and a brand new category built around how women actually live.

Your skin has a morning routine. It has a gym bag routine and a nighttime routine, with a serum for every step. Your lips? They usually get whatever balm is rolling around the bottom of your purse.
India Hester thinks that is backwards, and she built a launch to fix it.
On October 23, the Dallas founder of IA Beauty releases IA Beauty Lip Peptides, a trio of peptide-infused daily lip treatments in Bubbles, Blossom and Buttercup. Each one is $18 at iabeautyshop.com and on TikTok Shop. But the bigger news is not the three new tubes. With this drop, India is opening an entirely new category for her brand: IA Beauty Lip Wellness.
“Your lips have a routine, too,” India says. That one line is the whole idea, and it is a smart one.
DAY. MOVE. NIGHT.
India built Lip Wellness around three moments: DAY, MOVE and NIGHT. Morning, on the go, and before bed.

“We think about skincare as part of our daily rhythm, morning, on the go, and nighttime, but lip care is often treated as an afterthought,” she explains. “I wanted to create products that fit naturally into those same moments.”
To India, Lip Wellness means lip care that feels intentional and lifestyle-driven. It moves with you through the workday, the workout, the errands, the flight and the nighttime routine, while still feeling elevated and beauty-forward. It is self-care you can actually keep up with, because it lives in the same moments you already have.
A founder who already knows lips

IA Beauty, short for India Approved Beauty, launched in May 2025 as a lip-focused brand built on liners and glosses. In a little over a year, India has grown it from a Dallas startup into a brand that beauty editors at Byrdie have already taken notice of.
That focus is exactly why this move makes sense. India did not wander into lip care chasing a trend. She has lived in this category from day one, and Lip Wellness is the natural next chapter: taking a brand known for color and shine and adding real care underneath it.
The timing could not be better
Peptides have become one of the most searched words in beauty, and lips are where the excitement is. Trend forecaster WGSN reports that searches for “peptide lip treatment” are up 155% year over year, as shoppers treat lip care like skincare instead of an impulse buy at checkout. Market research firm Circana found that lip treatments were the fastest-growing segment of facial skincare in Europe in 2024, with sales value up 48%, as Cosmetics Business reported. Dermatologists interviewed by Women’s Health named lip peptide treatments one of the 2026 skincare trends actually worth trying.

In other words, consumers are already asking for treatment-first lip care. India is giving it to them with a routine attached, and with shades made for the women she knows best.

Inside the formula
All three shades share one treatment base, built to keep lips hydrated, conditioned, soft, smooth-looking and high-shine. The texture is serum-like and glides on easily. India describes it as something that “feels like a treatment while still giving the polished finish of a beauty product.”

The hero ingredients do the heavy lifting:
Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, the peptide at the center of the treatment story
Camellia Japonica Seed Oil, to help condition and soften
Argan Oil, to help nourish and moisturize
Vitamin E, to help support conditioning and overall lip comfort
Three shades, three moods
India wanted the launch trio to feel like three shades for three moods and moments. Read her notes and the routine practically writes itself.

Bubbles is the universal clear. It works for everyday wear, workouts, travel or nighttime. India made it “for the girl who is always on the move but still wants her lips to feel cared for.”

Blossom is the brown. “It’s the brown shade I feel everyone needs,” India says. It is polished, wearable and flattering across skin tones, the kind of shade you wear to work and keep on straight through dinner.

Buttercup is the berry. Rich, fun and right on time for fall, it brings a little more personality. Wear it alone, or pair it with liner for a night-out look. That pairing is a nod to where IA Beauty started, and a reminder that India has been thinking about the full lip look all along.
Building a category, not just a launch
This is where India’s story gets bigger than a product drop. She is not trying to sell one more gloss. She is trying to own a lane.
“Long term, I see IA Beauty Lip Wellness growing beyond this initial trio into a fuller lip-care category centered around daily rituals, treatment-first formulas, and products that blend performance, comfort, and beauty,” she says.

Her growth plan is just as intentional. The collection launches direct-to-consumer on iabeautyshop.com and TikTok Shop, powered by creator outreach, media sampling and grassroots brand building. India is also exploring partnerships and retail opportunities, and she is working to bring IA Beauty into med-spas, where conversations about lip care are already happening every day.
That is the founder move: name the category, build the ritual, then meet the customer everywhere she already is.
So tomorrow morning, before you grab your keys, give your lips their step in the routine. India has been saying it all along, and she signs every email the same way.
Stay glossy.
