Mielle Brings Jalen Hurts and Will Anderson Jr. Into Its NFL Lineup

Mielle has named Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts and Houston Texans defensive end Will Anderson Jr. as the newest faces of the brand. The announcement, made October 6, arrives nearly a year after Mielle became the first official textured hair care partner in NFL history.
The two players lead Can't Miss It, a new campaign under Mielle's Tested by Real Life platform, with films rolling out on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok. Hurts fronts the Rosemary Mint Strengthening Pomade-to-Oil Scalp & Hair Quencher, while Anderson champions the Pomegranate & Honey Curl Defining Mousse.
“Guys with textured hair have always had routines, standards, and pride in how they show up.”

Built for game day
Mielle senior hair scientist Kierston Jackson calls football “a real performance test for textured hair.” Sweat and friction under a helmet can affect scalp health and hair strength, and the brand says its enhanced Rosemary Mint Collection, made with rosemary extract, biotin, castor oil and vitamin B5, delivers up to 12 times stronger strands when the full regimen is used as directed.

For the players, the routine is personal. Hurts says that even with a bald fade, “there's still a detailed amount of preparation that goes into my grooming.” Anderson credits his sister Tiera with introducing him to the curl defining mousse. As the youngest sibling and the only boy in his family, he says, his sisters taught him early that a hygiene and maintenance routine matters.
A sports playbook, built step by step
Monique Rodriguez started Mielle at her kitchen table in 2014. The brand became the WNBA's first official textured hair care partner in 2023, supported athletes at the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games and HBCU athletic programs, and joined the NFL in November 2025 through its parent company, P&G.
Signing two of the league's top players takes Mielle further into men's grooming and puts textured hair care for men in front of one of the biggest audiences in sports. The Can't Miss It films are live now on Mielle's social channels.
