Amazon’s new multichannel selling tools bring orders, listings and profit reporting from every channel into Seller Central, and for busy beauty founders, that means fewer logins and clearer numbers.

Amazon has launched multichannel selling tools inside Seller Central, letting independent sellers manage orders, listings and profitability across Amazon, eBay, Shopify, TikTok Shop and Walmart in one place. Here is what the tools do, what is available now, and how beauty founders can decide whether to use them.

What Amazon Launched

Announced September 24 at Amazon’s Accelerate seller conference, the tools let sellers connect their eBay, Shopify, TikTok and Walmart accounts to Seller Central, import and link listings from those channels, see orders from every channel in one view and fulfill across channels in a few clicks. Amazon says the tools are rolling out gradually to U.S. sellers over the coming months at no additional cost, with more channels and capabilities on the way.

The problem it solves is a familiar one. Amazon says more than 95% of independent sellers in its store sell across multiple channels, and each channel comes with its own dashboard, rules and reporting.

Three Things Founders Can Do With It

Update a listing once. Sellers will be able to edit a product description once and have it update everywhere it is live, automatically formatted for each channel. Amazon is also bringing its AI listing tools to other channels, generating channel-ready titles and product details.

See every order in one place. Orders from all connected channels appear together. A seller can pick a Shopify order, send it to Amazon for fulfillment, and tracking flows back to Shopify automatically. Sellers do not have to use Amazon’s fulfillment to use the tools.

Know which channel actually makes money. A profitability view pulls in sales, ad spend and traffic from connected channels, so founders can compare performance without exporting spreadsheets from every platform.

Our Take for Beauty Founders

For founders across the Black Beauty Founders ecosystem, the real value here is time and clarity. A founder selling a hair oil on Shopify, TikTok Shop and Amazon is often reconciling three sets of numbers by hand. Here is how we would approach it.

Start with your biggest channel. Connect the channel that drives the most volume first, and confirm your listings link correctly before adding the rest.

Protect your product details. One-click updates are powerful, but review how AI-written titles and descriptions read on each channel, especially ingredient claims, shade names and hair-type language. In beauty, accuracy is what earns repeat customers.

Price out fulfillment before the holidays. If you send orders from other channels through Amazon’s Multi-Channel Fulfillment, those orders carry Amazon fulfillment fees, and Amazon’s holiday peak fees apply from October 15 through January 14. Run the numbers before the rush.

Know your options. Shopify offers its own version, Marketplace Connect, which lets merchants manage Amazon, Walmart, eBay and Target Plus sales from inside Shopify. The right home base is the platform where you already run most of your business.

Let the data decide where you grow. Profit by channel tells you where to spend your next marketing dollar and which channel deserves your next launch. For more on how Amazon is shaping beauty retail, read our earlier analysis.

Amazon says independent sellers drive more than 60% of sales in its store, and tools that cut busywork give founders more time to create products and build relationships with customers.
