Exclusive: LINA LENNOX Brings Its Organic Silk Hair Bonnets to Ulta Beauty and Target

The founder-funded luxury hair protection brand launches on Ulta.com October 1, followed by Target Beauty Studio on Target.com October 25, less than two years after entering the market.
LINA LENNOX is kicking off October with two major retail wins.
Black Beauty Founders can exclusively report that LINA LENNOX, the luxury hair protection brand known for its organic silk hair bonnets and founded by Angela D. Muth, launches today, October 1, on Ulta.com, with Target Beauty Studio on Target.com following October 25.
The dual expansion comes just 18 months after LINA LENNOX entered the market and dramatically increases the brand’s retail reach within a single month.
The timing is especially notable for Muth, who has built the company without outside funding and personally invested more than $200,000 into LINA LENNOX since its inception.
“LINA LENNOX was created from a belief that hair protection should be treated with the same intention as every other part of our beauty routines,” Muth tells Black Beauty Founders. “I’ve invested so much personally into bringing this vision to life, so to see the brand reach this stage and become available to a much wider audience is incredibly meaningful.”
She adds, “It’s a milestone that represents years of believing in what we were building, even before there was proof that it could become what it is today.”
An Ulta Beauty Debut on National Hair Day
The October 1 Ulta launch also coincides with National Hair Day, giving the brand a timely entry into a larger conversation around where hair protection fits within the broader beauty routine.
LINA LENNOX is built around the premise that hair protection belongs within hair care, rather than being treated as an accessory category separate from it.

Inside the LINA LENNOX Silk Hair Bonnet
The company uses 100 percent organic mulberry silk, including 22-momme, grade 6A silk, across products designed to reduce friction, retain moisture and minimize pulling, frizz and breakage. Its collection was developed with hair textures ranging from 1A through 4C in mind.
The brand’s premium positioning is also reflected in its pricing. Organic Silk Hair Bonnets start at $78, the XL version retails for $98 and Oversized Organic Silk Scrunchies are priced at $36. The company says its products contain no synthetic silk blends and are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified.
That pricing places LINA LENNOX firmly within the premium beauty market, while also making a larger bet on consumer behavior: that shoppers will increasingly view products designed to protect their hair with the same consideration they give treatments, styling products and beauty tools.
For Muth, the proposition has always extended beyond function.
“Hair is deeply personal,” she says. “There is so much culture, identity and memory tied to how we care for it. My hope has always been for LINA LENNOX to create products that honor that relationship while making the everyday ritual of protecting your hair feel beautiful.”

From Ulta to Target Beauty Studio in One Month
Today’s Ulta.com debut puts the independent company in front of one of beauty’s largest consumer audiences. Less than four weeks later, LINA LENNOX will expand again through Target Beauty Studio on Target.com. Together, the launches represent the company’s largest retail expansion to date.
“Launching with Ulta Beauty and Target within the same month is an incredible milestone for LINA LENNOX, especially just two years into this journey,” Muth says. “I created this brand because I believed caring for our hair deserved the same level of thought, quality and beauty that we expect from every other part of our beauty routines.”
For a young, founder-funded company, the two placements also mark a significant shift in scale. National retail brings greater visibility, but also greater demands around inventory, operations, marketing and customer acquisition.
LINA LENNOX enters that stage with a clear category proposition and two major retail platforms giving that proposition considerably more exposure.
And for Muth, the expansion represents validation of an idea she has backed with her own capital from the beginning.
“To now have the opportunity to introduce LINA LENNOX to even more people through two retailers that have such meaningful relationships with beauty consumers is something I don’t take lightly,” she says. “This is a huge moment for us, but it still feels like the beginning.”
